VIRGINIA BRIA Virginia is past President of NCUPS and has prepared an interesting program. She will be coming down from Marin County to give the presentation and looks forward to her visit with us. She has a fine arts background; has studied at the Pratt Institute in New York, and has taught art professionally. Virginia has been scuba diving for 31 years and actively taking underwater photographs since 1977. She uses a Nikon D2x in a Nexus housing with dual Sea and Sea strobes. Virginia worked several years as dive master and dive instructor in the Sea of Cortez aboard the dive boat Don Jose, and has photographed in Indonesia, Africa, Palau, Hawaii, Europe, Greece, French Polynesia, Bonaire, Turks and Caicos, Cozumel, Philippines, Thailand, Galapagos, and our own Northeast and California coasts. Virginia was president of the Northern California Underwater Photographic Society in 2001. She is a docent for Photography at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Virginia is a financial planner and is President of Virginia Bria Associates, an investment company in Marin County, California
